Charles Jeffrey’s Loverboy, London’s mens fashion is back

The London fashion scene has been going through a rough time with the cost of living rising and smaller brands having to compete within the over commercialised fashion capital. However perhaps the tide is turning as we are seeing more young brands getting recognition. Loverboy is one of those London-based fashion brands that has gained a reputation for its vibrant, avant-garde designs and its celebration of London gay culture. Loverboy started as a club night before it evolved into a fashion brand. The club night, named “Loverboy,” was founded by Charles Jeffrey while he was studying at Central Saint Martins. These nights were known for their wild, immersive performances and served as an important source of inspiration for Jeffrey’s designs. This unique origin story sets the brand apart and underscores its deep roots in London’s vibrant underground culture.

The spring 2025 ready to wear collection was a wild ride of bold colours, unique tailoring and quite a bit of humour.  Check out the images below of the fashion show in London.

Can’t wait for next year? Here are some of my favourite clothing pieces that I just had to highlight. And luckily available to buy online in the Loverboy webshop.
